There’s now yet another way to read my trilogy of science fantasy epics, The Books of the World Spectrum. The full series has now been added to Scribd’s library and is available for reading.

Humanity was not born free.

Long ago, a terrible race known only as the Old Gods created the human race to serve as their slaves. After centuries of servitude, humanity rebelled and succeeded in destroying their masters.

But the Old Gods and their dark influence were not banished entirely. The Books of the World Spectrum are a trilogy of epic science fantasy novels telling the tale of the lingering threats left by the Old Gods, and one woman’s struggle to overcome the stains of humanity’s dark origins. Drawing inspiration from steampunk, high fantasy, and science fiction, they are an adventure like no other.

If you’re not familiar with it, Scribd is a subscription service allowing people to read unlimited ebooks from their library for $8.99 per month. It’s a pretty good deal if you’re a big ebook junkie.

Scribd also offers a one month free trial. If you’ve been thinking of giving the World Spectrum series a try, this is a great way to do so without spending a dime. The terms of Smashwords’ deal with Scribd means I get paid for you reading the books, regardless of whether or not you’ve actually paid for a subscription, so you’re still helping to support me as an author even if you never go past the free trial period.

As a reminder, I am still seeking reviews for the first book of my World Spectrum series, Rage of the Old Gods. I will provide one free to copy to anyone interested in reviewing the book on a blog or a popular social media profile.

You don’t need to be a professional book reviewer, nor does your blog/profile need to be devoted to book reviews or sci-fi/fantasy topics. I’m just looking for some greater exposure, so all you need is a reasonable number of followers and/or traffic.

You can also feel free to be as honest as you like in your review. I welcome all criticism so as long as it is constructive. Of course, if all you want to do is gush and tell me how brilliant I am, well, I wouldn’t exactly object to that, either…
