Games That Defy Stereotypes + The Burdens of Shaohao

My new article over at ADANAI is about games that defy stereotypes. Games that are smart, progressive, and intellectually and emotionally stimulating as opposed to mindless, violent, and crude.

It’s also another entry in the “Tyler takes every possible opportunity to lavish praise on The Secret World” file.

If I’d wrote this after playing Remember Me, I probably would have included it, too.

The Burdens of Shaohao:

Here’s something unexpected. Out of the blue, Blizzard has launched a series of animated shorts to tie in to the story of Mists of Pandaria, called The Burdens of Shaohao. The first installment, The Vision, is available now.

Even though this is a story we already know from the game, I quite enjoyed this. The art style is gorgeous, and anything with Lorewalker Cho gets my instant seal of approval.
