They’re back! We’ve got our first single from Chvrches’ upcoming fifth album.

Writing this up immediately after my first listen. First impression: very good. The darker edge is reminiscent of their last album, Screen Violence, but it also has a lot more punch and energy than most of the Screen Violence songs. Really, really like this. Feels familiar enough to scratch the Chvrches itch but different enough to be exciting.

Also, damn, Lauren’s new look. Holy peak.
